Professional Development for Sustained School Improvement

At Edward Pauling Primary School we believe that every child deserves an outstanding education and that high quality professional development lies at the very heart of this.  We achieve this by ensuring that all of our Continued Professional Development [CPD] is informed by robust, frequent and careful checks of our performance and its impact on pupil progress.

All staff have equal opportunities and access to professional development which enables them to maintain excellence in teaching, achievement and behaviour.

To ensure that the quality of teaching in our school is outstanding we:

- carry out action research projects to deepen pedagogy

- coaching and mentoring lie at the heart of CPD

- lesson study and peer observation form part of our practice

- monitoring and evaluations are carried out alongside teachers to ensure development of skills and expertise

If you would like to use any of our school improvement programmes, documents and training, it would be our pleasure to share these with you.

Please contact us at Mr John Duffy [Assistant Headteacher]  0208 831 0841.  Email- office@edwardpauling.hounslow.sch.uk to request further information.

If you would like to visit our school for professional support , lesson observations and wider CPD  purposes, we charge a fee based on the requirements of the visiting school. The money raised via the school consultation programme is donated to our School Council projects.

To book a PPG review for your school, please contact Mrs Felicity Sulma [Headteacher] for further information.
