Returning to school 2021-22

As part of the school's commitment to keeping every member of the school community as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, a whole school risk assessment is carried out regularly and this is placed on the school website for transparency.  Although vaccinations have been taking place and all adults within the school community can access twice weekly lateral flow tests, there is still a risk that infections may occur. It is therefore expected that all families will adhere to these measures as we return to school this September.

We hope that this information will alleviate the concerns that you may have.

Pupils must wear school uniform apart from on the day of their PE lesson, when they may attend wearing PE kit. The Uniform Policy under Key Information on the website should also answer any questions you may have.

To support continued social distancing between adults on site the school will still operate the one-way system around the school site so all members of the school community should follow this. Please ensure that any adults collecting your child are familiar with this. If pupils are late arriving or being collected, classroom doors will remain open until 9am in the mornings and close at 3.30pm - otherwise please bring your child to the reception area at the front of the school but remain mindful of giving others space. Siblings must continue to be collected from their own classrooms using the one-way route around the school.

At this time, parents and carers will still not be able to enter the school unless by prior arrangement to minimise the risk to all, other than where medication is being handed in. Please email or telephone school with any queries or information that you wish to give  - we will then arrange to speak with you should that be needed. We would thank all parents and carers for following all the procedures which are in place to help to keep all members of the school community as safe as possible.

Below you can find all the information that was sent to parents and carers via ParentMail in August 2021. If you have any additional questions, please contact the school.
