“We should all know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value, no matter what their colour.” - Maya Angelou, who was a writer, poet and civil rights activist in the USA. The idea of everyone having equal worth will form part of our focus in assemblies this term, linking to our school rule of caring for everyone and having a growth mindset as part of our curriculum intent.
