European Day of Languages

European Day of Languages is held every year on 26th September to celebrate the different languages spoken in Europe. It was started by the European Commission and Council of Europe to show the importance of language learning.

Every year group in school learned about a different languages spoken somewhere in Europe. During assembly, each class shared which language they leaned about and how to say hello.
