Primary cross-country relay October 2022​

 

Below is our cross-country relay team. They undertook a mixture of different cross-country events over a longer distance of 1 mile and a shorter distance of 300 metres, both in teams and as an individual. We achieved great success achieving multiple top 10 finishes and the pupils were extremely proud of themselves.Above is our cross-country relay team. Year 5/6 girls’ football festival October 2022

 

Our 5/6 Girls football team went to a girls’ football festival at Springwest Academy and participated in various different football related mini games that worked on their finer skills. The girls really enjoyed themselves showing their skills to the coaches and young leaders from Springwest. Primary cross-country championships November 2022

 

We went to Osterley Park to compete in the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 cross-country races. It was a very cold and damp day, but the twenty pupils all gave everything they possibly could, with a 2nd place medal to bring back and everyone finishing in the top quarter out of 150 pupils from other schools in the borough.

Boccia Ball competition November 2022

 

A small group of Year 5/6 pupils went to Reach Academy to compete in a Boccia tournament, part of the inclusive sport programme It was a very exciting day for the students, learning the best techniques and how to play more strategically to boost our chances of winning.

 

Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics December 2022

 

A group of eighteen students left Edward Pauling to compete at Reach Academy, in a mixture of many different athletic events as part of the West Cluster. Mr Miller and Mrs Doyle witnessed the group of students perform to the highest level, demonstrating their reslience and pushing themselves to the peak of their capabilities to achieve qualification to the borough finals in January where we look forward to seeing how they'll do!
