Welcome to Year 1!

 

Year 1 have been busy this half term learning about travelling. We learnt about different forms of transport and created our own rockets and cars. 

Our next IPC topic will be ‘Flowers and Insects’ which will involve learning about different plants and how the seasons affect their growth. We will also learn about different materials and how they can keep us cool or warm.

In numeracy, we will be revising time and using our knowledge of time to solve problems.

In Literacy we learning how to write a non-fiction report and poetry and raps.
